I am driving the Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE at the Top Gear Test Track on Forza Motorsport 4. This car is part of the April Alpinestars Pack. This is the first-generation Savanna RX-7. It was launched in Japan since March 1978 and it replaced the Savanna RX-3. The chassis code for the first RX-7 referred as SA22C. It's served with Mazda's SA Platform and a 12A 2-rotor engine. Later on, it was facelifted in 1983 and it comes with the 12A Rotary Turbo Engine that comes from the Luce/Cosmo. The car featured on Forza Motorsport 4 was the US-spec GSL-SE model, which comes with the direct injection 13B RE-EGI engine producing 135HP of power and 183Nm of torque. US-spec RX-7's designated as FB after the US Department of Transportation mandated 17-digit VIN changeover. Oh, and I'll give you some trivia. If you were a Filipino who loved some Japanese super sentai shows, you might remember that the SA22C RX-7 was featured on a classic sentai show, Shaider, as the car of choice for Annie, Alexis' companion. Alexis drove a Suzuki Jimny/Samurai. Listening to: Rise by Herb Alpert (*Mazda Savanna RX-7 SA22C Commercial Song) NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED!
